After
studying film production at Valencia Community College in Orlando,
Florida, Steve traveled to Los Angeles, where he worked in various
capacities of film production before returning to Sarasota in
2003 and publishing his book The Rucksack Letters. He
has since been involved in the Film Town Initiative through
the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County and
the Sarasota Filmmakers Showcase at the Sarasota Film Festival.
He is also the director of such films as Music Meets Special
Needs, The Tide from Red to Blue Attention Deficit Disorder:
Life at a Different Pace, and Simply Sarasota. He
has performed as an actor in the Got a Minute? play festival
and the upcoming short film Yearning for Light. Steve
is currently gearing up for the 2008 release of his next book
Artists Must Play CARDS with artist Gale Fulton Ross. |
