This
artist is a resident of Sarasota, FL and a graduate of Ohio
State University. She had a career as an educator and administrator
in public and private schools. She is a professional award winning
photographer and pastel painter. Her work has been exhibited
in galleries in the Northeast and Florida. She is a writer of
poetry and short stories which have been published in journals.
Her photographic images reach many countries. She has had 12
one woman shows and received juried awards including Best of
Show. Gardening is her passion and has been an active member
and volunteer at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens of Sarasota for
more than a dozen years. Member of the Board of Art Center Sarasota,
founding member of Women in the Arts, National Association of
American Pen Women, Fine Art Society Sarasota, Women Contemporary
Artists, Littoral Society and Sarasota Shell Club. Activities
include, kayaking, biking, tennis and gardening.
